Project Safe Haven

Nearly one-half of churchgoers struggle with pornography and other forms of sexually compulsive behaviors and sexual immoral practices. Yet, because many churches are not viewed as a safe place for receiving help and healing, those in greatest need remain silent. The fact that churches neglect openly discussing the issue further compounds the extreme guilt and shame keeping many hurting souls in hiding. In addition, this perception that the church will merely judge the sinner, most likely keeps countless others from even risking attending church. The Lord is calling His churches to be the loving arms that reach out to those trapped in bondage to sexual immorality. It is time for the church to break the silence and foster non-judgmental and safe atmospheres for healing to take place.
